At Wheelrite, we provide a high-quality diamond cutting service with a quick turnaround time. Our facilities include a CNC diamond cutting lathe specific for alloy wheels and our certified staff have undergone training to a high level.
Diamond cutting is a very popular service as many wheels now come with this finish as standard. However, corrosion is also common and, over time, stone chips can cause water to degrade the lacquer and cause a ‘spider-webbing’ effect. This is where we can reproduce the original look to the wheel or even bespoke other alloys to your own specifications with a full diamond cut face and lip.
The method of diamond cutting is very accurate and precise but it takes longer than the typical refurbishment service we provide. Diamond cutting requires the entire alloy to be refurbished as a very thin layer of the alloy is removed using the specialist lathe and cannot be used just to touch up an alloy. Wheels can only be diamond cut several times as too much material is then being taken away, instead you may think of having our durable painted/power coated refurbishment service.
